We are extremely happy with our re-modeled front garden. Roger and the team have done a fantastic job. Our neighbors and people passing by have commented on how lovely our new garden looks. We wanted privacy and a garden we use and enjoy year round. Roger designed a garden concept that met our requirements, and complimented our house and site. A design that will last us well into the future.

Sirtrack wanted a Garden that reflected our New Zealand natural heritage that would look good, be easy to keep looking good and was cost effective. Working with the existing structure Barking Mad designed and implemented a native garden that met these requirements, complimented our building and enhanced our working environment. Barking Mad did a wonderful job transforming our messy back garden, rotting deck and overgrown pool area into a beautiful and usable space that people actually say “wow” to when they see it.

It all started with a telephone call, followed by a meeting with Roger and Tara, who I am sure must have wondered what on earth they had been asked to take on – an area that was uphill and down dale with 1 meter high weeds everywhere, it was not for the feint hearted. But take it on they did. With the help of their gardeners, John and his crew, Tara and Roger set too to weave their magic to turn my wilderness into a lovely easy care garden. The magic has now been woven and everyone who had seen my ‘weed patch’ all comment on the transformation and how lovely it is now. Many, many thanks.

Since we first met Roger and Tara, they have always done superb work in the garden, with new ideas for plants etc. when needed. They maintain our garden on a monthly basis, and we are always more than happy with their work, and their company, as they are lively, fun people to have around.

We wanted Barking Mad to design a modern and easy to maintain garden and pool area. Rogers vision and creativity really impressed us from the outset. From a blank canvas to an outdoor setting that wow’s us two years on. Barking Mad exceeded all our expectations. What’s more, the project was managed professionally and on quote! My Company was looking for a landscape gardener to deliver an innovative solution to a lawn area where we were hosting outdoor wedding ceremonies. Roger met us on site and in quick time we had a design profile that was exactly what we were looking for-a mix of colour, height, hardiness and good ground cover along with concrete walling and a wooden walk bridge. We set Roger a budget and he was able to deliver the project to that budget which we were really pleased with. It is a year since the garden and trees were established and we have a great result with all varieties flourishing including a number of 4 meter flowering cherry trees which were a challenge. Our wedding bookings have also flourished!
